How it works

From application to certificate

Admissions is a short form, a timed test and a video introduction. Then you enrol, study at your own pace for 60 days and finish with a capstone, a final exam and a certificate.

Admissions

A few short stages, all free

Screening protects the value of the certificate. Employers judge every REVO graduate by the ones they've already met, so we check that each learner can succeed before they pay. Every track follows the same steps. Admin & VA and Project Management applicants take one extra test.

About 10 minutes

Application form

Tell us who you are, which track you want and how you'd study.

  • Name, country, time zone, email and WhatsApp number
  • Your device. A laptop or desktop is required once the tool labs start
  • Your internet connection and backup option
  • Hours you can study each day and the shifts you could work
  • Any admin, office or customer-facing experience. None is fine
30 minutes, timed

Written test

Done in one sitting. Three tasks, set for your track:

  • Write 150 to 200 words. Customer Support applicants reply to an angry customer about a late order. Admin & VA applicants explain a missed deadline to a client. Project Management applicants tell a sponsor the project will be two weeks late
  • Rewrite a poorly written or rambling message so it is short and clear
  • Answer 10 grammar and punctuation questions
Admin & VA only · 15 minutes, timed

Accuracy test

For admin work, accuracy predicts performance better than anything else we test.

  • Follow a 10-step instruction set exactly. Two of the steps are deliberate traps
  • Enter 25 rows of data from a scanned sheet into a Google Sheet
  • Scored on errors, not speed. Two or fewer errors is a pass
Project Management only · 20 minutes, timed

Planning exercise

How you sequence a messy problem tells us more about project work than a grammar score does.

  • From a one-paragraph scenario, such as a shop opening or a website launch, list the tasks in order
  • Mark which tasks depend on which, and which can run in parallel
  • Name three risks and what you would do about each
  • Scored on structure and logic. You don't need any project management vocabulary
60 to 90 seconds

Video introduction

Record it on your phone or on Loom and send us the link.

  • Who you are and why you want this kind of work
  • A time you helped someone solve a problem, or organised something with other people
Scoring

What we look for

Your test and video are scored out of 100. The weights differ by track. Clear, easy-to-understand English matters more than perfect grammar.

A pass in writing is easy to follow, answers the question and gives a clear next step. A pass in grammar is 7 or more of 10 correct.

How you study

Self-paced, with a schedule to keep you moving

60 days of access

Your access runs for 60 days from the day you enrol. The recommended pace is 1.5 to 2 hours a day, and you choose the hours.

Mostly reading and doing

About six in ten lessons are written. The rest are short screen recordings inside the tools, a few presenter videos and interactive labs.

Checked as you go

A short knowledge check after each lesson, a quiz at the end of each module and graded labs. You always know where you stand.

Where graduates go next

Graduates join the REVO community: a peer network, job leads shared by members and partners, and referrals where we can make them.

If you want structured help with the job search, our partner The Remote Connect (TRC) takes it from there. TRC supports graduates with CV and profile positioning, access to remote job opportunities, application support and interview preparation. Joining TRC is your choice, and its fees are separate from the Academy.

What we promise. Skills, a certificate and a community. Hiring decisions stay with employers, so we don't guarantee a job or an income.
